[Adult Class] Week 13

Summary of Korean Class 5/12

Hello All!

Today, the weather didn't start great but now it's so sunny out and warm! Hope all enjoy this beautiful weather finally.

As you all know, this coming Sunday would be our last class of this semester. I'd like to appreciate you all for making it all the way throughout the semester and spending time with me on your precious Sundays!

I know I'm not a professional instructor, so I went thru a lot of trials and errors with you guys. It was great time for me to learn a lot with you all. Hope you all get to learn 'somewhat' of Korean & culture from this opportunity! As always, if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to let me know anytime.

The attached is the powerpoint file I used on 5/12 for those who couldn't make it. It was mostly meant for those who's never been to Korea, or who's not so familiar with Korea geography, but I hope everyone finds it useful & still interesting!

I am also attaching the Summer for the semester. It may be missing some detailed information, (such as conversational parts, detailed explanation), but I want you to look through it and go over the class materials if you find some part difficult.

As announced before, we are going to do some short 'final exam', just to see how much you've learn throughout the semester(don't get stressed over it by the term 'exam'!), and do a recap session.

Also, as we discussed earlier, I'm thinking of having a farewell dinner at Hoban that day. (5/16 Sunday, 5:30PM-ish?) Farewell to Phea (who's moving back to her home country), and classmates. Alex informed me he won't be able to make it, but unless you let me know, I will make a reservation for everyone else. (FYI, Phea, generous Mariam and Eddie said they could give you a ride after). Just let me know if you can't make it! I would like to see you all there though.

Again, the enrollment for the fall semester is open now. Most likely I will be teaching next semester too (I promise I will try to do a better job!!!), so if you'd like to improve your Korean further, please consider it :)

Then I will see you on Sunday.

감사합니다!!
