안녕하세요!
잘 지냈어요? How was your first 'official' Korean class? I hope I didn't go too hard or made it too boring. If you have any feedback, please let me know!
This week's homework (숙제) is two parts. One is to listen to my recorded conversation from 1과(Lesson 1, on the first page), and practice speaking aloud & record it yourself and send it back to me. There are good free apps on your smartphone you can use. I repeated it twice in the voice file, first - slowly and second - faster. You can try to practice slowly at first, and challenge yourself if you can do it a little faster!
If you can record your voice and send it to me by Saturday at the latest, I will listen to them and give you feedback on Sunday. It will force you to practice 'speaking aloud' and also help improve your pronunciation.
Second part is download & print the attached picture and look for Korean words for whatever you can see in the picture. It's a picture of kitchen and we will learn some vocabularies about Kitchen on Sunday.
Also I'm attaching one more file - this is from previous year and it has some more explanation/practice questions about consonant ending/vowel ending words with 은/는 (subjective particle) and 이에요/예요 (polite ending).
**For advanced practice, after you're done recording your voice, this time try to dictate my recorded file and see if you can write it down in Korean solely relying on your listening skills. It doesn't have to be perfect, but that way you can improve your listening & writing skills as well :)
If you have any question or concerns, please feel free to let me know!
Then have a great week & see you on Sunday.
고마워요!
