I am sorry but I am just way too excited about yesterday! 어제 우리가 수업에서 배웠던 내용이에요. 1. OO도 않고 %%도 않아요 = It's neither OO, nor %% - but it's just perfect ex) 날씨가 덥지도 않고 춥지도 않아요. 소리가 크지도 않고 작지도 않아요. But, we talked about how it can also mean something negative - it's just soso, so you do not really like it. ex) 그 사람을 좋아하지도 않고 싫어하지도 않아요. 2. 위치에 대한 어휘를 배웠어요. 위, 아래/밑, 앞, 뒤, 옆 (오른쪽, 왼쪽), OO하고 XX 사이, 안, 밖 And the order of a sentence would be: subject - reference - location word - verb ex) 사과가 냉장고 안에 있어요. 3. 장소 어휘를 배웠어요. 교회, 초등학교, 중학교, 고등학교, 대학교, 경찰서, 편의점, 도서관, 빵집, 소방서, 주유소, 주차장, 호텔, 은행, 대사관, 시청, 영화관, 식당, 지하철역, 지하철역 출구, 횡단보도 4. 방향에 대한 어휘를 배웠어요. 직진 - 직진하다, 앞으로 가다 우회전 - 우회전하다, 오른쪽으로 가다 좌회전 - 좌회전하다, 왼쪽으로 가다 후진 - 후진하다, 뒤로 가다 유턴 - 유턴하다 정지 - 멈추다, 세우다, 정지하다 5. -세요 is added to a verb stem to make it a formal command -세요 if the last syllable ends in a vowel / -으세요 if the last syllable ends in a consonant ex) 가세요/ 앉으세요 -지 마세요 is added to a verb stem to make it a formal negative command ex) 가지 마세요/ 앉지 마세요. And your homework for this week is to make 3 house rules in Korean by using -세요 or -지 마세요 (ex. 나쁜 말을 사용하지 마세요.) Please let me know if you have any questions.
