Summary of Korean Class 3/24 and Homework

안녕하세요! 잘 지냈어요?

Finally it's (almost) spring! Still chilly in the evening, but very warm and lots of sunlight during the day time. Hope everyone's enjoying this nice weather :) 3월 24일 일요일에 we practiced more about time/date and places! Now we are able to say where we're going, on what day, at what time, etc! Please keep on practicing 월요일~일요일, and date, and time. Remember, you want to use Native Korean # for the 'hour' part along with the unit '시', but sino korean for Minute(분), and second (초). Homework for this week is attached; now we're going to practice how to introduce your family members! Please memorize the words, and do the optional homework part if you have time.  For those who did the writing homework last week, but didn't get to turn it in to me, you may free to just bring it again on Sunday, or scan or take a picture and email it to me :) The optional writing assignment for this week is : what you'd like to do in Korea if you get to visit there sometime in the near future. You can include: which places you want to visit, what kind of food you want to try, for how many days you're going to stay, etc. Just imagining your trip to Korea itself would be fun!

Here's the youtube video that I'd like to share with you this week. It's about street food you can find at Gwangjang Market in Seoul. (광장시장) I personally love this place; lots of good food, and souvenirs, rice wine(막걸리, makgeoli) and the busy but very lively atmosphere!

To learn more about Gwangjang Market, here's the wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gwangjang_Market Hope you have fun and get hungry for some Korean food! Then I will see you on 일요일. Hope you all have a good rest of the week! Best regards, 유나.
