Summary of Korean Class 3/31 and Homework

안녕하세요! Happy 수요일!! :)

잘 지냈어요? 3월 31일 일요일에 we learned some words related to Family members including 할아버지, 할머니, 언니, 누나, 형, 오빠, 동생. Plus some extended family members such as 큰 아빠(remember? it means BIG dad), 고모 (aunt - dad side), etc.  The extended family member words are not required - but PLEASE feel free to memorize them if you'd like!

Attached is the homework - now we're going to learn some verbs in Korean so you can learn how to make sentences on your own! Please have them memorized, and we will explore how Korean verbs work, and how to make it honorific way (using polite ending forms).

The optional homework might be a little challenging this week; Making some sentences based on what we've learned so far. If you do not remember much, or are not sure where to start, I strongly recommend you go over the materials we've learned so far and come back to it. It's already mid-semester, so I thought it would be a great time to refresh what we've covered so far!

Also, I forgot it last week (I'm so sorry!), but this week, I for sure remember to prepare for a list for advanced Korean vocabularies! Please memorize them if you'd like to learn more advanced words about body parts!

Lastly, here's the topic for the optional writing assignment this week: Please introduce your family to me in Korean. You can describe their appearance, what they like, what they mean to you, etc.

Here's the recommended video for this week: Korean history in 12 minutes! Enjoy :)

If any question, as always feel free to let me know!

Have a good 수요일 and I will see you all on 일요일!

Best regards,

유나
