1. Commands with -(으)세요

- Formal way to make a command

- Add -세요 after the verb stem if the last syllable ends in a vowel (ex. 가다 - 가세요)

- Add -으세요 after the verb stem if the last syllable ends in a consonant (ex. 먹다 - 먹으세요)

- Irregular verbs: 듣다-들으세요, 걷다-걸으세요, 묻다-물으세요, 싣다-실으세요, 만들다-만드세요, 살다-사세요, 팔다-파세요, 울다-우세요, 놀다-노세요, 열다-여세요, 불다-부세요, 눕다-누우세요, 굽다-구우세요, 낫다-나으세요

2. -지 마세요 for forming negative commands

- Add -지 마세요 after the verb stem to form a negative command

- ex. 가다-가지 마세요, 씻다-씻지 마세요, 쓰다-쓰지 마세요

3. Formal endings -(스)ㅂ니다

- Present tense: Add ㅂ받침 니다 after the verb stem if the last syllable ends in a vowel (ex. 가다-갑니다)

- Present tense: Add 습니다 after the verb stem if the last syllable ends in a consonant (ex. 먹다-먹습니다)

- 다 ending changes to 까? ending when asking a question in a formal way (ex. 어디 갑니까? 뭐 먹습니까?)
