안녕하세요.2025학년도 가을학기 유아반 담임 송소율입니다.

지난 9월 14일(일), 저희 반 아이들은 놀이와 학습을 통해 함께하는 즐거움을 경험하고, 한글과 한국에 대하여 배우고 익혔습니다. 주요 활동은 다음과 같습니다.

1.     자기 이름 쓰기와 맞추기를 통해 친구 이름 익히기

2.     한글로 다양한 방식의 숫자 읽기와 쓰기 (예: 하나, 둘, 셋 / 일, 이, 삼 / 사람 세기 / 동물 세기)

3.     한글로 색과 숫자 익히기 (예: 분홍색 구슬 5개 찾기)

4.     동물 이름 맞추기

5.     동화책 함께 읽기

6.     소근육 활동 놀이

7.     한국 전통놀이 함께하기 (예: 무궁화 꽃이 피었습니다, 딱지 치기)

8.     전래동화를 통해 단군신화 배우기

9.     단군신화 속 곰, 호랑이, 마늘, 쑥, 동굴을 연결하고 동굴 만들기

Dear the Parents of the Minnesota Korean School Preschool Class:

On Sunday, September 14, our class experienced the joy of learning and playing together, while also learning about Hangeul (a.k.a. Korean language) and Korean culture. The main activities were as follows:

1.    Writing and matching their own names to become familiar with friends’ names

2.    Reading and writing numbers in Hangeul in different forms (e.g., 하나, 둘, 셋 / 일, 이, 삼 / counting people / counting animals)

3.    Learning colors and numbers in Hangeul (e.g., finding five pink beads)

4.    Guessing animal names

5.    Reading a storybook together

6.    Fine motor skill activities through play

7.    Playing traditional Korean games (e.g., “The Rose of Sharon Has Bloomed,” ddakji folding-and-flipping game)

8.    Learning the Dangun myth through a Korean folktale

9.    Connecting elements from the Dangun myth—bear, tiger, garlic, mugwort, cave—and making a cave
