[초등반] 제1주 수업

수업일: 2023. 8. 20(일) 1:00-4:00

첫날 오리엔테이션 및 반배정을 위해 합반으로 진행했습니다.

1교시

- 자기소개하기 게임 (서로 이름 외우기 및 숫자 복습, 한국 문화/게임 체험)

- 보물 찾기 빙고 게임 (단어 읽기, 쓰기, 말하기)

쉬는 시간

- 무궁화 꽃이 피었습니다 (한국 문화/놀이 소개 및 학급생과 친해지기)

2교시

- 빙고게임 마무리

- 단어 몸으로 말해요 게임 (단어 읽기, 새로운 단어 익히기, 한국 문화/놀이 소개)

- 스토리타임 (Korean American graphic novel를 통해 bilingual 책 소개 및 한국 전통 미술, 전래동화의 퓨전 맛보기)

쉬는시간

- 얼음 땡 (한국 문화/놀이 소개 및 학급생과 친해지기), 간식

3교시

- 스토리타임 마무리. 태극기 바람개비 만들기, 한국어 프리토킹 연습.

다양한 나이대와 다양한 한국어 능력을 갖춘 개성 만점 아이들이 서로 짝 지어 소통하고 도와가며 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다. 다음 주 부터 각자 반에서 수업을 받게 되겠지만 모두가 서로를 알아 가족처럼 따뜻하게 한 학기 협동해서 잘 보낼것 같아 기대됩니다!

First day of the semester, we combined the two children’s classes to get to know everybody and to strategize how best to assign classes for each student.

1st Period

- Introductions: “My Name Is” game (learn everyone’s names, review numbers, experience Korean culture and game)

- Treasure Hunt Bingo Game (reading, writing, speaking words)

Break

- Mugunghwa Flower game (experience Korean culture/game and getting to know each other)

2nd Period

- Finished Bingo game

- Korean Charades (reading, learn new words, introduction to Korean culture and games)

-Story Time (introducing bilingual education through Korean American Graphic Novel, experience a fusion of traditional Korean art and culture with contemporary art)

Break

-Freeze tag game (experience Korean culture/game and getting to know each other), snacks

3rd Period

- Finish Story Time, make Korean flag pinwheel, free talk in Korean

We had so much fun with a diverse body of individuals of all ages. We were able to communicate, collaborate, and help each other learn from each other and together. Children will be sent to different classes next week but our hope is that this collaboration will continue throughout the semester and all students can be respectful of each other and help make our school feel like a second home. I am looking very much forward to getting to know everyone even better!
