1. -아/-어 주세요 "Please do (verb) for me"

- Verb in the present tense -> take out -요 at the end -> add -주세요 at the end

- ex) 말해요 -> 말해 -> 말해 주세요, 읽어요 -> 읽어 -> 읽어 주세요

- Add the word 좀 after an object of a sentence or in the beginning of the sentence if there is no object in the sentence to make a request with courtesy (ex. 사진 좀 찍어 주세요. 물 좀 주세요. 좀 크게 말해 주세요.)

2. -요? Confirming information

- Add -요? after the noun you wish to confirm or the speaker to repeat

- ex) 가: 종이 좀 가져와 주세요. 나: 네? 종이요?

다: 학교에 와 주세요. 라: 네? 학교요?

- Add -요? after question words: 누구요? 언제요? 왜요? 어디요? 어떻게요? 뭐요?
